Class on May 20th

For the class for May 20th, we learned about a website called Feedly. Feedly is a robust feed reader that aggregates information from around the web into one convenient place. Users can use it to view updates on any topic that they're interested in, whether they come from the news, blogs, social media posts, RSS feeds, or other sources.

In Feedly, we were taught to make folders for the class' members blogs, and to also add a few websites of the things we enjoy. I added a folder of pop music, because I enjoy listening to pop music and following the pop culture.

Personally, Feedly reminds me a lot about a website called stumbledupon that has been shutdown recently. It's minimalistic, which is what a lot of websites strive to do these days, but personally, when I went on that website it feels as if Feedly tries too hard and relies too heavily on its minimalist approach which could be a little overwhelming to use at at times.

As far as how much use I would get out of this, I would say not very much as Feedly could be a little too overwhelming for me to navigate. Despite that however, I am still glad to learn about this website.
