Class on June 10th

For the class on June 10th, the teacher showed us a video about BeeHive, which is a company that began in 2007 under the goal of providing more job opportunities for people in Malawi. From when it started until now, BeeHive has trained thousands of Malawians to gain workplace skills.

After that, he mentioned briefly about Seibo Japan, and how they are also an NGO who aims to implement school feeding and provide school meals in a partnership with local communities. The teacher also mentioned about the fact that Seibo Japan is one of the companies that helps Malawi's economy by importing their coffees and selling them to individual customers.

Which then comes to the part where the students of Business English Communication comes into play. Our project for the class, is to design a website on the coffee in Malawi, and think of a way to sell and promote them to customers. If the people in Seibo Japan liked our ideas, there are chances that they will put it up on their website, and maybe even implement them in real life.
